Hillingdon Humbled and Hung Out to Dry by Jubilant Reserves

First team game victim of weather and Reserves draw away to league leaders

A sterling performance by the Reserve Team against Brize Norton means a point gained away from home and two points dropped at home by the league leaders.  Despite going two up in the first half, "a 2-2 draw was a fair result", said the Gaffer, Tony McConnon today as his team keeps up the pressure at the top of the table.  See photos for some photos (would you believe)!

Meanwhile, disappointingly, the First team game was called off due to a waterlogged pitch at firstly, Victoria Park, and secondly at the City Rec.

Reserves Win Away At Unity - But At A Cost!

The Reserves continued in their quest for promotion by despatching Unity FC at Cintra Park this afternoon by 3 goals to 1.  However, the performance was marred by a nasty looking injury to the hand of Karen Churchill and she remains a doubt for the next couple of matches.  The injury came about when a Unity player recklessly followed through onto Karen after the ball had gone.  She was correctly shown the yellow card despite protestations from the opposing team's officials.

Pictured below is the team photo just before kick-off.  The players are wearing the new 3rd kit kindly donated by the Royal Mail Sports Foundation.  Hey, wake up Lucy have you gone to sleep?  Hayley looks as if she is giving Unity the Last Rites!  Nice photo of me, though!
